This PV plant is part of a reclamation project of an old structure containing 850 tonnes of asbestos. On 11 buildings of the harbor of Ancona, covering an area of 18,907 square meters, were installed 3.2 MW. The energy production meets the needs of about 1,600 families.
The roofs were covered with 15,248 high-efficiency PV panels, offering an installed power capacity of 3,200 kWp and cutting CO2 emissions by 2,688 tons a year.
